At Biosero, we often discuss actively engaging with the local community. It was no surprise when the question “Why?” “Why do we work at Biosero ?” prompted the annual “WHY” project. The Biosero team voted on an organization or cause to whom we would like to make a company donation of $5000. The organization chosen by our team was the Alzheimer’s Association because of its impact on caregiver, patient, and research support for people who have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Because the whole Biosero team decided to support the Alzheimer’s Association, on Saturday, September 26th the team, joined by Portavoce PR, took part in the virtual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Employees participated from all different parts of the country, including Massachusetts, the Del Mar, CA beaches and Downtown San Diego. With the team’s participation, we surpassed our step count goal and raised over $1500 with a matching donation of $500 from Biosero.
