We are so honored to have been named one of the Best Places to Work in San Diego this year by the San Diego Business Journal. This is a prestigious and important award — and one we’ve proudly won four years in a row!
According to the journal, the award program recognizes companies with the best benefits, practices, and policies in the region.
While we have deeply appreciated this award every year, this latest win is particularly meaningful. Biosero was acquired by BICO late last year. We carefully vetted that opportunity, but there is always some concern about how a company’s culture will withstand an acquisition. Just as we made it a point to focus on maintaining our passionate, fun culture throughout the many challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, this past year we have doubled down to ensure that the entire Biosero team felt appreciated and valued as we made the transition.
What people love most about Biosero, though, doesn’t come from an HR program, a virtual happy hour, or a funky sock competition. It’s our passion for our work that really sets this company apart. We provide laboratory automation solutions that allow researchers to accelerate their science, developing new treatments or cures faster and more reliably. Through the software and tools we create and the discoveries they enable, people will have the chance to lead healthier lives. That’s what brings us to work each morning and keeps us motivated all day long.
Biosero is hiring. We are a fast-paced and rapidly growing company focused on doing work that matters. Our team is made up of driven, challenge-oriented, and growth-minded achievers dedicated to the success of our customers. We have a relentless commitment to excellence, and it shows in everything we do. (Yes, even in the funky sock competition.)
We’d also like to congratulate four members of the Biosero team who were included in the San Diego Business Journal’s recent list of top 50 Leaders of Influence in the Life Sciences. Kudos to President and CEO, Tom Gilman; Director of Customer Success, Steve Laflin; Senior Director of Commercial Operations, Ruth Petersen; and Chief Operating Officer, Andrea Salazar for this well-deserved recognition!
