Static Calculation and Microsoft Entra ID
This month, we’re rolling out new features in Green Button Go Scheduler. Read on for more detailed descriptions of what’s changed in Green Button Go Scheduler with this release, and reach out if you’re interested in an upgrade.
Launched Static Calculator to Execute Quick Timing and Throughput Studies
If it’s critical to your work to get specific timing studies on the workflows you’ve defined, this new feature could be a help to you. Timing is critical for labs that want to quantify the return on investment from their automation solutions, or even just work through plans to boost throughput.
The first visualization option is to show a breakdown and Gantt chart by the labware that’s being processed.
The second way to visualize the activity is by the Instrument running the processes, with a Gantt chart to show when the instruments in the workcell will be in use.
Now you can leverage all the benefits of GBG’s dynamic scheduling engine with a handy tool to quickly provide timing data in just a few clicks.
Added Ability to Manage Users Outside of GBG Scheduler (Microsoft Entra ID)
GBG now connects with a common IT user management tool: Microsoft Entra ID, previously known as Azure Active Directory (ADD) and on-premises Active Directory (AD). We’re working with IT professionals more than ever these days and it’s critical to provide support for GBG to connect with the wider IT infrastructure of a business.
