With hundreds of supported devices, the Biosero Driver Library connects to the instruments you already use. And if a device isn’t supported yet? We can build the driver to get it done.

From quote to install—Biosero’s proven process

Each step is guided by our experienced team of Account Managers, Applications Consulting Scientists, and Project Managers.

Understand the project

The most important step in any lab automation solution is fully understanding the project. So, together with the lab, we work through a series of topics to make sure that we have a clear picture of the need.

Topics we cover during consultation conversations

  • Project parameters, goals, and KPIs
  • Budget requirements
  • Space constraints
  • Risks, concerns, and potential pain points
  • Detailed workflows

Define the system (Statement of Work)

Once we have a proposed system that addresses the scientific and operational needs of the client, we create a statement of work (SOW) for the project.

The SOW is a detailed description of everything that needs to be done to get the system up and running. It covers details about which standard operating procedures and experimental processes will be automated.

Quote & kickoff

Assuming everything checks out and both Biosero and the lab are both in agreement on the detailed statement of work, this is the point where the lab sends us a purchase order and we begin to bring the system to life.

Build & Factory Acceptance Test

During initial build and testing phase, Biosero scientists and engineers build the system at Biosero HQ and put it through its paces in preparation for factory acceptance testing.

We order and assemble all parts of the system, plus program Green Button Go to connect all the elements. Key stakeholders from the lab are welcome to join us onsite to see the solution in person and running with the goal to ensure that the lab’s goals are met. The digital designs for the system become a reality.

Ship, install, & Site Acceptance Test

Biosero engineers pack and ship the components of the setup to the customer facility. They also travel to the client’s site to handle the installation, validation, and testing as part of the site acceptance testing. It is our responsibility to make sure all the equipment arrives safely, gets properly installed, and that the system works exactly the way it did during testing in our factory.

Once the system is installed at the customer’s site a formal Site Acceptance Test will be performed by Biosero with the customer to ensure the system is now working as intended in its final location at the customer site.

Let’s build something extraordinary

If you can imagine it, we can help you integrate it. Let’s talk about your lab’s next chapter.
