Summary of role

The Market Manager role is primarily responsible for:

  1. developing the presence of Biosero in targeted market segments,
  2. creating solution-based messaging that resonates with our targeted market segments,
  3. performing detailed market analyses to help develop marketing strategies,
  4. building and managing close relationships with key customers, conceiving and executing strategies to identify and influence stakeholders such as thought leaders, industry, and non-profit bodies,
  5. generating evidence development by partnering with key customers to design and manage collaboration opportunities that support market development goals, and
  6. staying current and reporting on scientific advances, competitor activities, and market dynamics, leveraging the information to create sales enablement tools that resonate with our targeted market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the commercial team to determine quarterly market asset deliverables aligned with company initiatives and new product introductions.
  • Develop and implement market development strategies for targeted market segments.
  • Demonstrate an ability to organize projects and see them through to completion, enhancing scientific understanding and align company goals and marketing campaigns.
  • Create and present marketing campaign plans to key internal stakeholders as part of the product strategy team.
  • Manage the production, publication, and training for sales enablement tools, including message alignment across marketing assets.
  • Manage and support campaign-related lead generation, outbound marketing, and brand development activities.
  • Manage the development, distribution, and training for collateral and advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate and manage the efforts of cross-departmental personnel to drive market development activities and maintain alignment across commercial functions.
  • Facilitate business process changes as required to improve organizational performance.
  • Regularly interact with field sales and application teams to share information, drive initiatives, and network with researchers.

Qualifications

  • A B.A. or B.S. in Marketing or life sciences-related field
  • 5+ years’ experience with life sciences products or applications
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability and sense of ownership when driving projects to completion. Outstanding attention to detail, excellent organizational skills
  • Previous business strategy, business development, or strategic marketing experience related to life sciences
  • Proven experience in a strategic role working collaboratively and independently to drive results.
  • Project Management experience with mid and long-term projects
  • Ability to influence across the organization at all levels, including the ability to work with many individuals on a one-on-one basis
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability and sense of ownership when driving projects to completion. Outstanding attention to detail, excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and an ability to network with external customers. Fluency with PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Confident speaker with a capacity to convey complex technical information with ease in English
  • Customer-centric attitude, capable of a customer-facing role with a “sales” and “support” focused mindset
  • Highly adaptable and independent. Ability to thrive in a start-up, rapidly growing company environment
  • Proven experience in a strategic role working collaboratively and independently to drive results
  • Capable of traveling up to 10%, both domestically and internationally
